3 What is the relationship between the EASC, EMRTS and the Wales Air Ambulance Charity (WAAC)?

The service represents a joint partnership between NHS Wales and the Wales Air Ambulance Charity  (WAAC).

EASC is responsible for the commissioning of the EMRTS Cymru, this includes the funding of EMRTS Cymru (please see FAQ 1). 

EMRTS Cymru, a part of NHS Wales, is responsible for the delivery of the clinical staff and services, support staff and medical equipment. 

The WAAC provides and delivers the operational infrastructure.
