The Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) transport people to and from hospital when it is not an emergency.  The people who use the Non Emergency Transport Service are patients who meet the Welsh Government Eligibility Criteria and qualify for transport to hospital for appointments in clinics or for treatment in hospital.

NEPTS staff go through a lot of training including: customer care, first aid, specialist driving skills, moving and handling patients and basic life saving skills and use specially designed vehicles (usually with ramps) to ensure the patients are transported safely and comfortably.
